Phase 4 of 5 — Decide and document
For each gap found during sampling, make a clear decision:
Approve formally — add to the inventory with a DPA in place, a named owner, and a data class designation.
Remediate — assign a specific fix (sign a DPA, add a human review step, restrict access to sensitive data, configure data retention settings). Name an owner, set a 30-day deadline.
